Timeline:

Transportation setups and changes operate on a weekly cycle, starting every Monday.  The deadline to get a change in for the next Monday is the Wednesday prior at noon.

Families must contact their school for transportation changes (moved residences, change of JK/SK Designate names, changed/new to school, returning from virtual learning, changes in babysitting/daycare etc).

Notification:

Parents will be advised through an automated call from WESTS to access their student’s bus details through their buskids account.

How to Setup a bussing account:

Step 1) Click on “Create Account”, follow the onscreen instructions to validate the account through your email.

Step 2) Log into your new account and then click on “Add Student” (one at a time if multiples apply)

Step 3) Adding students requires the OEN number (found on the top of report cards), the birthdate (as the school has it recorded), the grade and the school.

To view your child’s transportation information, log into your account. (Please note that transportation information must be checked each summer after August 15th, as routes and times do change from year to year.

Notification of Delays or Cancellations of a school bus:

Now that you have logged into your account and you have your bus route number, you can download the delays and cancellations APP for mobile devices, from the APP store.  Once in the APP you can update the settings with your bus route number in order to receive push notifications for that bus when it is running behind schedule.
